FAQs

How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule a new appointment, please call the office at (201) 903-0709 or leave a message for us in the contact section.

To schedule a follow up appointment, you can either call the office or schedule online via the patient portal

Do you take any insurance plans?

We are an out-of-network practice and therefore, do not accept any insurance plans. Payment in full is expected at the time of your appointment. The office will then submit a superbill with both diagnostic and billing codes to the patient’s insurance company for reimbursement. Please be aware of your out-of-network deductible fees prior to scheduling.

Do you accept Medicare?

We are out-of-network providers with all insurance carriers including government-issued Medicare. Some supplemental insurance carriers may provide some reimbursement to patients seen by physicians who have opted out of Medicare. If you have Medicare, you will be provided with a copy of the physician’s Medicare opt-out notice for submission to your supplemental carrier.

Why are we out of network with insurance companies?

Our primary goal is to deliver the highest level of care to each and every one of our patients. Unfortunately,  in-network providers are often limited by time and other restrictions. We are committed to giving you the quality and personalization you deserve and have therefore opted to be out-of-network providers.

Do you see patients virtually?

Yes. We use a HIPAA-compliant online platform for telemedicine visits for some follow-up appointments. Initial consultations are done in person only unless previously approved by the physician.

Are lab tests, diagnostic studies and medications covered?

Our out-of-network fee schedule only applies to your office visit. Lab tests, diagnostic studies and medication will be covered in-network by your insurance company.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide us with 24 hours' notice of cancellation. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment you will be subjected to a cancellation or no-show fee of $100.

Is there parking at the office?

Once construction is completed, the office will be located at 118 Prospect Street, Ridgewood. There will be free parking in the back of the office and metered parking spaces across the street.

Is the office wheelchair accessible?
